Melinda was definitely relieved to receive her cheque. While normally, she doesn’t get to see our draw live, she sure was happy she did this week to catch that her number was drawn! Melinda says she will be using some of her funds to purchase a plane ticket to Alberta. Her son plans to marry next summer and this will help ensure she will be there by his side.
Melinda plays at BellaRay Variety and owner Lloyd Normore was on hand to present the big cheque! It’s the first win for the store!
๐ฃ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฒ : in the video we indicated that the number drawn was not played. We received a call from the owner of the number who indicated that she had played her number. Upon investigation we determined her sticker had been placed on another number on the play sheet and in comparing this number to previous weeks it was easily identifiable as the same player.
We apologize for the error. Folks, we canโt stress enough for players to please be sure your write your number clearly and underline it. Sometimes we have to guess what number we are seeing, which is what happened in this case. While we try our best to determine what the number is we certainly can easily make a mistake when numbers are questionable. When this happens we get a consensus before making a final determination on what the number is. In this case the last 6 was read to be a 0 instead of a 6.
