Karen said she couldn’t believe her luck this morning. After 4 years playing – since day one her number finally came out of the drum and she was very happy to have won! She didn’t really have specific plans for her winnings but said she would be celebrating up at the cabin this weekend! As part of our community giving, today we were joined by volunteers from the Epiphany ACW from McIvers. They received a donation to help with their fundraising efforts which are used to pay for the cost of up-keeping the local church.

For those of you who prepay, you will be reimbursed any remaining funds. If you wish to collect your prepay please visit the Family Outreach Resource Centre during business hours between Monday and Friday and bring along your list of numbers.

We want to be very clear that we are not transferring the Treasure Chest Toonie Draw to any of the several groups who have contacted us who wish to carry out a similar fundraiser such as ours. These groups are independent from us and have to obtain their own license. They will not have access to our registration information. So keep an eye out for future fundraisers and support these worthwhile causes if you can. We wish them great success!
We wish to extend our sincere appreciation and say thank you to all the everyone who have contributed to our Treasure Chest Toonie Draw fundraiser over the past 4 years. It has been a tremendous fundraiser for Newfoundland and Labrador Laubach Literacy Council and the Family Outreach Resource Centre. It certainly would not have been possible without the support of all the players, all of the treasure chest locations, all volunteers and our wonderful staff.
